CO-ED SOFTBALL
Are you interested in getting a good workout while fellowshipping? If so, sign up for the Light of the Canyon co-ed softball team! Sign-ups will continue through March 9 with games beginning the week of March 23 in the Anaheim Hills area. If it has been a while since you’ve picked up a glove or thrown a ball, no worries! All abilities are welcomed and we will have a few practices before games begin. We just want to have another outlet for fun and fellowship! We are looking for at least 6 women and 6 men to play, so don’t be shy! Contact Carmen Palo (626-664-9954) for more information and to sign up.

Games are played on Friday nights at Yorba Regional Park.

VOLUNTEER FOR SPECIAL OLYMPICS SUMMER GAMES
Everyone from Light of the Canyon is invited to volunteer for the Special Olympics Southern California Summer Games at Cal State University, Long Beach, on Saturday, June 14. The Compassionate Care Ministry is sponsoring this church-wide activity, and we hope to get maxium participation. Volunteers must be at least 14 years old; however, people of all ages are invited to cheer on the athletes. To register, visit the Special Olympics info table after worship or visit www.sosc.org.
VACATION BIBLE CAMP - JUNE 23-29th 9:00-12:00
This year’s theme is “Gone Fishin’“‘ where the children will be
learning the “water stories” of the Bible. We will enjoy our
rotations that will include crafts, drama, games, snack and water play!

CHOIR IS COMING TO LOTC!!!

For those of you who have been wondering when we would start a choir, your wait is over. That’s right, we are assembling a choir to sing at occasional Sunday services and, perhaps, other programs at church. Many of you have expressed interest, so this should be an exciting time of fellowship and music. Mark your calendars. The first rehearsal will be on Sunday, May 11 at 5:00 p.m. Please come and check it out. If you like to sing in worship, but do not like having a microphone, this is the group for you. Come and be a part of this exciting new facet of worship.
